Here at Abundant Life Evangelistic Church, We are a Christ-Centered, Spirit-filled, Family Church with a vision to "Bring Life to the City".
We believe that our church is engaged in the Heavenly Father's business, and we take that business very seriously. We deal with immortal souls on a short pilgrimage through life, with eternity waiting at the end of the journey. There is nothing that can supersede the importance of our relationship with God; and the eternal welfare of our souls.
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired infallible word of God, and that it came not by the will of man, but by the Holy men as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
GOD
We believe there is one God, eternally existent and manifest in the triune Godhead, three persons co-equal in power and purpose: God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit.
LORD JESUS CHRIST
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the son of God and God manifested in flesh. We believe in his virgin birth and His perfect sinless life. We believe that His shed blood atones for the sins of the world. We believe in His bodily resurrection and His ascension to the right hand of the father in Heaven as our great high priest.
SALVATION
We believe that Salvation, Eternal Life, comes through accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. We believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father and that through Him, a person's spirit is recreated or born again.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking with other tongues as it was on the day of Pentecost. This baptism is subsequent to salvation and is a free gift received only by the believer in Jesus Christ.
LOCAL ASSEMBLY
We believe in the local church as the assembly of the righteous to the preaching, teaching, and the evangelizing of the world. We believe that every born again believer should not forsake the assembling of themselves together with other believers in a local assembly.
HEAVEN AND HELL
We believe in Heaven and Hell. Heaven being the eternal home only for the born again believer who obeys God and lives according to the word of God. Hell is the eternal home of the unbeliever and for those who disobeys God.
RAPTURE
We believe in the second coming of Christ. He shall come from Heaven to Earth, personally, bodily and visibly, and the church will be caught up to meet him in the air.
